Choosing the Right Exhaust System

Don't Be Fooled by Cheap Exhaust Systems
There are hundreds of inexpensive exhaust systems available online.
Although many look impressive, appearance doesn't always equal performance.

Why ECU Tuning Is So Important
This is the step many riders overlook.
Modern motorcycles are already tuned very lean from the factory to satisfy emissions regulations.
Installing an aftermarket exhaust changes how the engine breathes.
Unfortunately, the factory ECU generally cannot compensate enough for these changes.
The standard oxygen (O₂) sensor has a very limited adjustment range and cannot properly correct the fuel mixture under all riding conditions.
