Triumph Trident 660 & Triumph Street 765
The all-new Triumph Trident! After a 40-year hiatus, Triumph has revived the iconic Trident nameplate with a brand-new model that's sure to excite motorcycle enthusiasts.
The Triumph Trident marks Triumph's return to the middleweight segment, offering riders a blend of performance, style, and accessibility.
Overall, the Triumph Trident model is aimed at riders who seek a versatile and engaging middleweight motorcycle that offers a balance of performance, style, and value for money. Its combination of modern technology, classic design, and everyday usability make it a compelling choice in its segment.
Now lets take a side step in style, the new street triple 660 is a force to be reckoned with. Bringing the iconic look from its older siblings into the fray. The new street triple 660 is the perfect entry bike for those looking to enter the superbike scene.
Both of these bikes are the perfect bikes to carry any new rider from their LAMS restriction through to full power. Seeing as new riders are stuck on LAMS restrictions for 3 years the trident and street triple 660 have you covered.
Some of the many things we offer at our Melbourne workshop for these models are:
- General Service / log book service
- Major service / Valve Clearances
- Custom Dyno ECU Tuning and derestricting
- Tyre fitting and sales
- Suspension services and set ups (including Ohlins)
- Electrical fault finding
- track conversion set ups
-
Tuning : In our experience These bikes highly benefit from a good quality high flow air filter like a DNA Paired with a performance ecu tune to unlock its full potential and power. And for added note and power a good quality aftermarket exhaust never goes amiss.
Suspension : Our technicians find the OEM suspension under sprung and the quality of the base rear shock is average. For those looking to invest in their bike. And invest in the joy and comfort they get from riding, we recommend a replacement performance rear shock with rebound adjustment. And new fork springs, setup for a rider's weight and riding style.
And for the shorter riders have no fear, we also have lowering options available too.
Servicing :
At Platinum Motorcycles Melbourne, our servicing is covered under factory warranty. We have all the diagnostics equipment necessary to reset service indicators and clear trouble codes. Tridents and Street triple 660 by the Manufacturer recommend servicing at 10K and 20K intervals. However we find these intervals way too stretched out for road riding. We highly recommend a General log book be completed every 5k or annually whichever comes first.
