Triumph Trident 660 & Triumph Street Triple 765 – The Perfect One-Two Punch

Triumph has nailed the middleweight market with two seriously impressive bikes: the Triumph Trident 660 and the Triumph Street Triple 765. Between them, they cover everything from first bikes to track-ready weapons.

The Trident 660 is Triumph’s LAMS-approved all-rounder — stylish, easy to ride, and packed with just enough punch to keep things exciting without overwhelming new riders. It’s the perfect first step into the Triumph family, and a bike you won’t get bored of even after your P-plates.

Once you’ve got that full licence, the Street Triple 765 is the natural progression. Borrowing plenty of DNA from Triumph’s supersport line, the 765 brings more power, more agility, and the kind of handling that makes every ride addictive. It’s a serious bit of kit for riders who want to push their limits.

Performance Upgrades

Trident 660 – These bikes come alive with a DNA high-flow air filter and a proper ECU tune. Throw in an aftermarket exhaust and you’ll unlock more power and a soundtrack that does the Trident justice.

Street Triple 765 – Out of the box it’s sharp, but the OEM suspension can let you down. We recommend a performance rear shock with rebound adjustment and new fork springs matched to your riding style. The result? Confidence-inspiring handling that matches the 765’s power.

Servicing Intervals

Triumph recommends 10,000km and 20,000km service intervals, but in our experience, that’s too stretched for road use. We strongly suggest a general service every 5,000km or annually to keep your Triumph running strong.
