YAMAHA MT07 PERFORMANCE UPGRADES AND SERVICING
At Platinum Motorcycles Melbourne we have been working with the Yamaha MT07 lams bike since it launched in Australia in 2014. We take this model from around 35HP to 67HP at the rear wheel.
These bikes are a great motorcycle not only as a LAMS learner rider but also as a full license holder. Once tuned by us, along with our suspension packages, the MT07 can be ready for both road and track use.

Dyno Tuning Packages
STAGE 1 DERESTRICTION

- Throttle & intake with full power ECU flash
- Great for a road rider wanting it derestricted
- Dyno charts included
STAGE 2 PERFORMANCE DERESTRICTION

- Throttle, intake and performance custom dyno tune
- Focusing more on the fast or track day rider
- You can also add a quickshifter, launch control and more to this package
Suspension Packages
STAGE 1 SUSPENSION SETUP

- Focusing on the road rider
- This package will get you stable and stops the front forks from bottoming and the rear from being harsh
- It includes springs, valving components, oil, seals and a new rear shock absorber
STAGE 2 SUSPENSION SET UP

- Focusing on the track day rider
- This includes front drop in cartridges and a performance rear shock
- All adjustable and race ready
Service Packages
GENERAL SERVICE/ ANNUAL

- The MT07 is due for a general service every 10,000km or annually
- At Platinum Motorcycles we recommend every 5,000km or annually (whichever comes first) to ensure cost effective care
20,000KM SERVICE

- General service along with replacement of brake fluids, coolant and spark plugs
- These are required to be replaced every 2 years as a rule of thumb, or if needed earlier
MAJOR SERVICE/ 40,000KM

- As per 20,000km service along with engine valve clearances
